Windsor Hotel Tips
Windsor Hotel is a solid 5 stars hotel, in a wonderful location for reaching all the major business destinations in Western Taichung. It is also very well connected to highway, expressway, high speed railway, buses (likely the best in Taichung, under this aspect).
On the other side, there is not much near the hotel. The most luxurious shopping district in Taichung, Area 7, is close-by, but you cannot just walk there (Xitun District is cut in half by the impassable, by foot, barrier formed by the highway, the expressway and the HSR).
From Windsor Hotel, you will have to take a taxi, or a bus, for almost every destination in Taichung.
As an added bonus, Zhang Family Shrine is a green and quiet small oasis (quite unknown to the tourists), just 200 m away, along Anhe Rd, accessible by a skywalk over Taiwan Blvd. It is worth a visit.
